“The most limiting factor is our concept of who we are.” – Michael Le Boeuf
Companies, relationships, men and women, the world: all of these are currently in a key transitional phase. It is time to get back to basics.
The purpose of any company is to create genuine added value, for which clients are willing to pay enough to:
- Ensure that everyone who contributed to the creation of this added value is entitled in a share of the profits;
- Generate a profit to finance the future viability of the company.
Being an entrepreneur is a pleasure, provided that:
- The objective you have in mind represents genuine added value;
- The money earned is the reward for a job well done;
- A healthy team spirit is the motivating factor behind your contribution.
Working (alone or together) is a pleasure, provided that:
- You have enough autonomy to contribute to something that is meaningful to you;
- Your work is appreciated when you have done it well;
- You work with other people who are equally motivated by the same constructive values.
Learning is a pleasure, provided that:
- You want to learn;
- The learning method sparks your enthusiasm and commitment;
- What you learn is useful to you.
To achieve this, a few key values must be upheld:
- Quality: of your product or service, and of the relationships you enjoy within and outside of your organisation
- Respect: from your clients, suppliers, colleagues, and your direct environment
- Confidence: in the future, your dynamism, the people with whom you work
- Responsibility: being prepared to face the consequences of your actions
- Ethics: a key element that should once again be placed in the spotlight
